Meet The Dentist

Leah Waits Dunn is a general dentist and the owner of Lamar Dental. She was born in Hattiesburg, MS and raised in Prentiss, MS. After attending William Carey University, she attended dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After a few stops in Arkansas, New York, and North Carolina, Dr. Dunn moved back home to South Mississippi, where she has served Pine Belt patients since 2020.

Dr. Dunn started Lamar Dental with the goal of providing affordable, quality dental care in Hattiesburg and the surrounding Pine Belt area. As a truly independent and locally-owned practice, Dr. Dunn is equipped to provide patients the excellence they deserve. She remains passionate about patient comfort and satisfaction through all phases of care.

Dr. Dunn is a member of the American Dental Association, the Mississippi Dental Association, and the South Mississippi Dental Society.
